Recon - The Beatnik EP Preview

For those of you who don't know, I've been working on an EP.  I managed to get some spare time on my Uni break and chucked together 5 new songs.  Its the first solo project I've undertaken but I had some help from my friends Oldmate and Trill.  The entire project was recorded at Park Studios in Belli Park Queensland, amongst some amazing old gum trees.

This is merely but a preview of the goodness to come, I know some crew out there already have the whole thing on CD, they should consider themselves lucky haha - Recon.

Rehearsing

So the boys dropped round and we started going over some songs for Saturday night.  Rolling rock should be full of hardiots but we'll smash it regardless.  Many ridiculous ad libs were thrown around, songs were destroyed and hairs stood on end.  We're on early at 8:15 so get there before I turn into '2-Rums' - Recon

Why Blog?

So I keep hearing words like 'blog' and 'internet' all the time, why doesn't my business have an online presence?

Well here it is, Park Studio's first blog.

I plan to have videos and recordings up as they evolve and get a few rants out as well. I may even advertise events I'll be involved with.
